There's a lot more to this area than North Conway's village and outlet shopping (though we all shop there and love the selection and deals). Here, on a good day, we might see a moose or fox on the way to work, or snow on the summit of Mt. Washington while it's in the sixties in the valley below. We might start the day by meeting friends for coffee - maybe some roasted and ground right onsite. As busy as we get, there's always time for a hike, a few ski runs or a round of golf. (You bet, we make the most out of living here.) Later, dinner may be followed by some music or a get-together with friends. The Mount Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce is a great resource to grow more familiar with all that our Valley has to offer.

For all of the natural beauty around here, it's the people who make this place as special as it is. The road crews who make sure you can get where you need to, no matter how much it snows. The natives who share the area's history, and a deep appreciation of the communities here. The volunteers who make our many special events possible. The folks at the local deli who always remember your name. You're about to see life in the Valley as we know it. Sure, you can find great gifts to take home, but here you can also find beauty, solitude, wonderful people, energy and a whole new way of living.
